Floating Dock Project
Four 12” X 48” X 96” Formex Encapsulated Floats
The dock was built into two 9’ X 12’ sections
John Roman contacted Universal Foam Products when he was thinking about building a 12’ X 18’ floating dock on his private 3 acre pond. We decided to go with four of the 12” X 48” X 96” Formex Encapsulated Floats. The dock was built into two 9’ X 12’ sections and then they were bolted together. He finished the dock off with 2” X 6” composite deck boards along with some 4”X 4” deck horizontals for decoration. Everyone was happy with how the deck turned out and now they have a place to relax on the pond.
