The flotation platform, constructed of treated lumber and 48” x 96” Formex encapsulated floats, is built separately from the house. It is then moved under the house and attached to the floor system. When the tide is up, the house floats keeping everything on the first floor high and dry. Universal Foam Products has provided flotation for floating cabins and homes from Louisiana to Canada.
