These photos show that we are only limited by your imagination. 26 blocks of .9 lb density EPS (expanded polystyrene) 24” x 48” x 48” were used to provide the flotation for floating island, bed and cabana at the Symbiosis Gathering 2016 in Emery, CA.
EPS is the most commonly used material for flotation, both un-encapsulated on private lakes and ponds and encapsulated with a hard plastic shell when used for commercial marinas and private docks and swim platforms on tidal waterways.
