EPS Used to Insulate Ice Hockey Rink

EPS Rigid Insulation

215 sheets of 1” and 150 sheets of 3” EPS were used to insulate the floor of this ice hockey rink turned curling rink in Marietta, GA. The long process started when they took over an old hockey rink. First they took out the red Georgia clay, then put sand down, then laid the .9 lb density EPS foam sheets. A vapor barrier was placed down next, then more sand. They then installed a vapor barriers, sand and chilling coils and the finished floor.

“Universal Foam Products was our Geofoam supplier for a stadium seating project in New Orleans. The material was delivered on time and cut to size. We installed the project in less than 3 hours with a 4 man crew without cutting a single piece of foam. We look forward to doing more projects with your company in the future.”
