Universal Foam Products supplied a custom EPS foam cone measuring 24 inches in diameter and 9 inches tall for use in a specialty mold-making application. The customer used the precision-cut foam cone as a master pattern to create a rubber negative mold, which was then used to cast multiple concrete cone shapes with consistent dimensions and detail.
EPS foam is an excellent material for creating forms, molds, patterns, and prototypes because it can be accurately fabricated into complex shapes while remaining lightweight and cost-effective.
