Custom Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) triangular trim pieces were supplied to a contractor for use in a 4” insulated metal panel (IMP) liner panel detail. The lightweight foam components were installed using butyl adhesive and spray foam to securely position and seal the assembly in place. Once set, the EPS trim served as a clean substrate for the finished detail and was subsequently covered with metal trim for a durable, finished exterior appearance.
