Universal Foam Products supplied custom EPS foam forms for a secant wall project in Washington state. The EPS forms were precision cut to a 40.55" diameter, allowing for a perfect fit during installation and helping streamline the construction process in the field. The lightweight foam made the forms easy to handle while still providing the accuracy needed for complex wall geometry.
Secant pile walls are commonly used for earth retention and groundwater control in deep foundation and excavation projects. By overlapping reinforced concrete piles, the system creates a strong and durable retaining wall capable of supporting challenging soil conditions while minimizing ground movement in surrounding areas.
