The Newport Aquarium in Newport Kentucky needed to create a way for their penguins to safely move from one elevation to another without going up or down 5 concrete steps that zoo personnel used. Universal Foam Products provided custom cut EPS that converted the step shape to a ramp shape. The contractor set the EPS in place and installed 2” of concrete on top creating a safe ramp for the penguins.
