EPS foam is highly suitable for block-outs due to its lightweight and durable nature, with each block weighing just 1 lb per cubic foot, making them easy to handle on site.

These qualities make EPS foam an ideal choice for creating voids in concrete. For this project, the foam was employed to block out spaces for various machine anchor bolts and a mixer machine pit.
