In a project in Cumberland City, TN, the customer utilized 1.35 lb Virgin EPS foam as concrete block-outs in various sizes. The contractor poured concrete up to the top of the foam, then removed the foam once the concrete had set. The resulting pockets were filled with grout, which will support the structural steel columns.
