60 PSI EPS

60 psi EPS foam (expanded polystyrene) was supplied to Clark Construction for use as void fill in the latest phase of the ReNew Project in Arlington Virginia. Universal Foam Products supplied 65,000 cubic feet of EPS weighing 3 lbs per cubic foot in blocks 48” x 96” x various thicknesses. The 60 psi EPS foam was specified by the engineer to reduce the loading on the underground parking garage below. Two Geofoam Hotwire Kits were used to perform the onsite cutting that was required. The Geofoam Hotwire Kit is the most versatile cutting tool available for onsite cutting of EPS.
