EPS29 Geofoam is often used to form concrete structures. In this case,
four different forms consisting of multiple pieces of
EPS29 Geofoam
glued together were used to form giant hoppers for this waste water
treatment plant in Mobile, Alabama. Each of the EPS forms had multiple
holes precut for rebar to pass through to help secure the foam in place
during the pour.
